One more walk around the garden

Who’s your Daddy?

For those of you who have chosen not to schlep it down to San Jose to see me in a show: you’re in luck!  I will be performing in San Francisco with 42nd Street Moon in their production of “Carmelina.”  Never heard of it?  Most people haven’t.  IT ran for two weeks on Broadway, and this is the West Coast Premeire.   It’s the type of show near and dear to 42SM’s heart.  And yes, it is a musical.

“Carmelina” is based on the Italian comedy Buona Sera, Mrs. Campbell, which eventually became “Mamma Mia!”  So this is similar to that story, but not set to the songs of Abba.  We have an excellent Music Director in David Dubrosky, who can, amongst other things, take credit for musical direction of a nineteen year old me in several productions by the non-defunct Capuchino Community Theatre.  His arrangements are still magic, and if I do say so myself, sound better than a bunch of Swedish teenagers.

It plays October 31 to November 18, with a nice variety of showtimes to choose from:

Wednesdays at 7pm

Thursdays & Fridays at 8pm

Saturdays at 6pm

Sundays at 3pm

Tickets can be purchased online www.42ndstmoon.org or by phone (415) 255-8207
