I have returned to the Stage in San Jose, re-commenced battles of Four Square, and created a new Running Club that went six-wide for the first time during our break from Tech Rehearsal.  I am quite full of mirth.

Persuasion was the last novel written by Jane Austen, and luckily she included a male love interest for the lead female character.  That’s me, believe it or not.  I also am putting into practice my RP (“Received Pronunciation”) dialect, for which many of my graduate school colleagues cajoled me during my time in London.  I returned the cajoling when we had to work on an American dialect show.  However, I believe all that practice has done me well, and I rather enjoy employing it for this production.  The show runs April 5 - April 28 and tickets can be purchased here.

During the intervals or post-rehearsal, I have inspired others in my cast to join me on a run through downtown San Jose.  While during Cabaret it was a gang of blondes, this time we come bearing mutton chops and long, flowing hair.  The Persuasion Running Club goes anywhere from 3 to 5 miles, and typically celebrates afterward with a pint at the local watering hole.  It has been joyful.

Meanwhile, I have completed a fourth episode for Net App, which can be viewed here.  Episode five recently shot in beautiful Sunnyvale, here’s a screen shot:

I’d also like to plug a hilarious, well-made web series called Project Reality.  MANA (or Maya and Anna) have a campaign that you can donate to, and sometimes they’ll put you in a rap if you do.  Some of their videos can be viewed here.
